      • Bristol Museums : Bristol Archives (Bristol BS1 6XN) - The Gerald Serpell-Morris tram and bus ticket collection : Bristol Tramways & Carriage Co., successors and related companies; also Swindon, Weston-super-Mare Tramways, independent operators; also the BT&CC/Bristol Omnibus Co. records and tickets
      • Isle of Wight Steam Railway  (Havenstreet, IOW)  Museum contains a ticket collection of Isle of Wight railways, bus operators etc.
      • Library of Birmingham (Broad Street, Birmingham) - the Wingate H Bett Ticket Collection; over 1 million transport tickets from all over the world, mounted in 170 albums.  This is believed to be still held for reference at the new library although the only online reference is now some web archive pages
      • London Transport Museum (Covent Garden and Acton, London)
          • Tickets and ticket machinery - online images from the LT Museum Collection of London tickets, bus, tram, trolleybus, Underground, and of ticket equipment
          • Reinohl Collection - Collection gathered over a lifetime by brother Herbert John Reinohl (1889-1988) and Albert Frederick Reinohl (1894-1977) - tickets from London, the provinces and overseas
      • Midland Railway Study Centre (Derby)  - Tickets of the Midland Railway and Constituent Companies - extensive illustrated catalogues by late TTS member, David G Geldard
      • National Archives (Kew, London)  - W E Hayward Collection: an extensive collection of books, magazines, cuttings, photographs, timetables, maps and tickets compiled by the late W E Hayward of Weston-super-Mare. The main subject is railway history but there are also a few books about the mines of Cornwall, canals and steamers.
      • National Railway Museum (York) - Railway ticket collection, plus extensive archives on UK railway history
      • National Tramway Museum (Crich, Derbys.) - Tramway ticket collection plus library and archive relating to Bristish and overseas tramway history
      • The Bus Archive (Walsall, Droitwich and Acton) - Former Omnibus Society British and Overseas bus and tram ticket collection, plus library and archive relating to the bus industry

        • De Nederlandse Vereniging van Belangstellenden in het Spoor-en Tramwegwezen (NVBS) Archive; Amersfoort, The Netherlands : Extensive archive relating to Dutch railway and tramways, including ticket archive, formely curated by late TTS member Gerrit C. van Straaten.  website currently down.

      • Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester (Cheetham Hill, Manchester) - includes tickets etc from the Manchester area and extensive display of ticket machines, punches etc.
      • Oxford Bus Museum (Long Hanborough, Oxon, OX29 8LA) - includes displays of ticket, ticket machines
      • Transport Museum, Wythall (Wythall, Worcs B47 6JA) - transport museum with over 90 buses and also battery-electric vehicles. also tickets, ticket machines from operators in the West Midlands
